Christmas Trees

Trinity College Oxmas Celebrations Have Begun.

Our Christmas tree in front of Chapel is the first to go up in time for our Carol Service on Sunday 26th of November at 6.00pm. This is a 16 foot Norway Spruce and like all of our trees, are bought in from Andrew Ingram who runs the Tree Barn at Christmas Common near Watlington.

Now time to concentrate on installing our 13 foot Nordman inside our Dining Room. Unlike the Spruce the Nordman is actually a Fir and has a much better neddle retention than the aforementioned. This makes it highly more desirable when using indoors.

Brenda Bassett who is normally seen cleaning staircase 12, very kindly offered to come in and dress our new vases with white twigs and blue baubles. These will be situated in each of the windows.

Despite Leah's attempt in persuading us to give her some bling for a night out on the town, we managed to decorate the tree as tastefully as we could.

Finished Result.
